Renaud Cook Drury Mesaros is pleased to announce that Robert Smith recently earned two new distinctions: The National Insurance Crime Bureau honored him with an award, and he was appointed Judge Pro Tempore for the Maricopa County Superior Court, Civil Division.
This fall, the NICB presented Smith with an award recognizing his prosecution of a case known as “Operation Tin Man” during his time as Assistant Bureau Chief of the Auto Theft Bureau at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. He was honored during a reception in Laughlin, Nevada, that was sponsored by the International Association of Special Investigator Units, Arizona Chapter.
Additionally, his Judge Pro Temp role runs for the 2018 fiscal year.
As a senior associate, Smith focuses his practice on civil litigation, insurance coverage, insurance defense, product liability litigation and business law. Having led numerous trials, he is an experienced litigator.
