Ellen Levy has a deep understanding of the insurance industry, and has spent more than 16 years representing carriers and clients in complex insurance litigation matters. In addition to her proven successful litigation skills, Ellen understands the industry standards and needs of the insurance industry and its representatives because of her management and leadership position as Managing Attorney for one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. This experience affords her the unique capability of offering insightful legal advice to insurance carriers, commercial groups and individuals insured under any type of insurance policy.
Ellen is particularly adept at handling Federal and State cases arising out of U.S.C. § 1983 cases, medical and dental malpractice litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters arising from all tort activity, bad faith litigation and carrier special investigation cases. Ellen has tried more than 24 cases in her career and is consulted by and relied upon by clients to craft successful litigation strategies.
An avid marathoner, Ellen has run 65 marathons and distances races and also challenges herself with long-distance cycling events.
