While incarcerated, plaintiff went into pre-term labor, eventually giving birth to a 24-week premature daughter. Representing one of multiple defendants, we negotiated a settlement for less than five percent of plaintiff’s $2,050,000 demand.

Decedent, a patient at our facility with a traumatic brain injury, choked and died after she ingested a piece of disposable brief. We successfully negotiated a settlement for one-third of plaintiff’s demand.

Our client, a doctor, had a complaint filed with the Psychology Board by his client claiming he was not seen by the doctor and the billing for services was wrongful. The Board expressed concern that our client was practicing outside the scope of his license. After supplemental briefing and another appearance before the Board, the complaint was dismissed.
